DecorationsDark pink tablecloth covered with a pale pink tablecloth or overlay Dark pink napkins tied with pale pink ribbon.

Pink china (a pink rose pattern would accent the table nicely). An inexpensive alternative would be to use pretty paper plates from a party store. Look for solid light pink or pink roses.

Vases filled with shades of pink flowers, such as roses, hydrangeas, calla lilies, peonies, tulips, daisies, and carnations.

MenuRaspberry Scones with Raspberry curds

Strawberry Bread

Roasted Red Pepper Sandwiches

Tuna Salad on tomato slices

Berry Custard Tarts (Add a few drops of red food coloring to tint the custard pink)

Teas Lady Londonberry is a blend of Assam and Ceylon teas flavored with lemon and strawberries and would be a perfect way to start off this tea party served with the scones and strawberry bread.

Strawberry Fields or Lemon green would be nice served with the tuna salad and tomato slices.

Tarajulie (Assam) or Mim (Darjeeling) would compliment the strong flavor of the roasted red pepper sandwiches.

Sencha Kyoto Cherry Rose Festival is a sencha based green tea blended with rose petals and cherry flavoring oil. This tea is light and naturally sweet and would the perfect way to end the desert portion of the tea.

Activities Include in the invitation for the guests to dress in pink. It will be fun to see all the different shades.

Plan another Shades of Color tea party and choose the appropriate food, teas, and decorating materials.
